2020 saw a lot of uncertainty around the pandemic, related to schools, jobs, relationships and churches.
Current CDC guidelines are allowing normal contact, indoors and outdoors for vaccinated people, and the numbers for COVID are lower than at any time since the pandemic began. We are tracking new activity with the delta variant and if protocols change for The Theatre or for our area in Northern Virginia, we will update that here.
At this time, masking and COVID protocols for The Surge at The State Theatre are optional.
Please note the following:
- Children and youth will remain in the main service for now
- All of our volunteers have been fully vaccinated
- Masks and hand sanitizer are available if needed
- Communion will come in sealed packets
