This week among the Surgeons: Greg J: I have this recurring dream where it is finals week, and I realize I forgot to drop this class which I have not been attending. Now I must take the final, and I know nothing. E: Me too! Or I dream I have a final but end up in the wrong room and can’t find the right room. Dwaine: Likewise, but it is for a foreign language I can’t possibly learn in a few hours. Greg J: Miss Masters Degree, how does it feel finally not to be in school? What's it like to be free to take a vacation in September? Selma: Weird. Like I’m not supposed to be here. Dwaine (onstage in soundcheck): Testing. Testing, One, two, three, four. Testing. Testing. Testing. Greg (in lobby): Isn’t, “Testing, testing, testing,” kind of scary for students? Samantha: Yes! Greg J: We should ask them to use some other word, like, “pumpkins”. E (also in soundcheck): “I don’t want a pickle, I just want to ride on my motor-cicle…” Greg J: Now there is a guy who cares about kids. Greg J: School starts Tuesday. Tell me something you don’t like and something you like about school. Student One: I’m in classes with my friends. But not all my friends. Student Two: I’m in a class with a girl I think has a crush on me. Greg J: Is that a like or a not-like? Student Two: It’s embarrassing. Student One: Oh, and I’m not in a class with my enemy. Jesus (after telling some stories): Do you understand all these things? Followers: Yes, we understand. Jesus: Jesus: So every teacher of the law who has been taught about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house. He brings out both new things and old things he has saved.
