The Surge Announcements Aug 4th, 2013

Hello Surgeons!

We're continuing our Practical message series with more Coffee with Granddaddy as Solomon gives us great advice for approaching life in interesting ways.

Special music will be "People Get Ready", covered by literally everyone who has ever recorded music... so sing along!

Please join us in prayer for our community, asking that God will continue to open doors of connection and ministry.

Join us for a special worship service at the Barn, (including a time of prayer, food and music).  This will be held on Saturday, Aug 17th, time TBD.

Our monthly men's breakfast will be Aug 31st, it will be delicious.

With more attention from the county and other sources, the backpacks we've provided to Longfellow Middle School to help some of the students there are not as needed as they've been in the past.  So, we're moving focus of our summer outreach in terms of blessing to Our Daily Bread.

They are doing some wonderful work in our local community and we're asking Surge folks to take the money / effort you would have given to the backpacks and this year, consider blessing Our Daily Bread instead.
