We're continuing our Dragnet series this weekend, talking about the Bible and why we believe it is inspired.
Special music this morning is "Story of My Life" by One Direction. Lots going on in coming weeks, here are the highlights: Today, Dec 15th, after service we have a group getting together to coordinate cookie baskets to organizations in the community, just a way of saying thank you! Talk to Summer or Nickie if you would like to pitch in. Next Saturday night, Dec 21st, 7pm, we're meeting at the Barn for a potluck and carol sing-a-long, it's going to be a warm evening of friends and we don't want you to miss it. We're trying to get a head count... so there is a sign up sheet making the rounds, if you're coming, please indicate that and what you're bringing! Next Sunday, Dec 22nd, we're doing our Christmas service. Music will be brought by Non-Sequitur, who had a VERY fun rehearsal yesterday, you'll enjoy their music. They've recorded an album with some of the songs they'll be doing and they would love for you to check that out. Bring a friend, it's going to be an amazing service. After service next Sunday, folks will be grabbing lunch and then we'll be visiting the Powhatan Nursing Home Sunday December 22, 2013: 1:45 - 3:15 p.m. 2100 Powhatan St, Falls Church, VA to spend some time with the residents who aren't able to make it out. This is a great event, hosted by Greg Johnson, we'd encourage you to go... if you have any questions, talk to Greg... a couple of dozen people are already going... Next week, we'll break from Dragnet to celebrate the Christmas holiday and we hope to see you and your family soon! Thanks, ~The Surge
