Good morning Surgeons!
Hope you are doing well, what beautiful weather outside...
We're continuing our message series on Bad Things (the story of Joseph), this morning we're dealing with being faithful in tough times and the real housewives of Egypt.
Next Saturday night, we'll have our monthly time of prayer, pizza and popular music. Starting at 5pm at the Barn! 1988 Kirby Road, McLean, Va 22101 - bring a friend and have some cheesecake.
The CIY team is coming June 22nd.
Monthly Men's breakfast will be on June 29th, followed by an all day event sponsored by SAW, it's their annual community day and will be filled with music and songwriting workshops, some open mics, song circles and a killer concert that evening. You should check the calendar and pop in, it will be fun.
Next week, we'll continue the saga of Joseph and Bad Things with a dream sequence or two, it's going to be great!
At The Surge we love doing things together... that includes writing a blog! Here are a few of our main contributing authors:
Our fearless leader, Dwaine is the lead pastor at The Surge. His experience in counter terrorism with the CIA prepared him for ministry and he likes dogs and babies even more than E does.
E (short for Eric Reiss) is the Wingman at The Surge and likes dogs, music, Mexican food, his wife Karen and his little girl Evangeline... not necessarily in that order.
