We are continuing our Bio series, exploring the idea, How Human was Jesus? 

Our special is Human by Christina Perri.
 
Human Trafficking Initiative in Nova - good meeting yesterday.  Not too late to get involved... there will be some training one day a month for the next couple of months, so grab Dwaine if you're interested and he will get you connected.
 
Financial Peace University is starting this Thursday, Mar 19th @ the Barn.  This is peace, like war and peace, not "peas" like peas and carrots.  Peace.  Financial Peas University wouldn't make any sense at all.  If you're interested in what God has to say about money... this is a great chance to really make positive changes to bless your family and generations to come with delicious and healthy vegetables.
 
Easter is coming soon - April 5th this year :)

We are kicking off for our BIO series, talking about Jesus and Who He really is. 

Our musical Special is Who are You by one of the greatest rock bands of all time, the Indigo Girls.  No, sorry that was a typo, that one was by The Who.

Offering, don't forget offering, boxes also used for prayer requests, and in the event of a water landing, they can be used as floatation devices.
 
Small groups are back on - these are a key part of the Surge and our commitment to doing life together.
 
Next Saturday is the kickoff meeting for learning more about The Human Trafficking Initiative.  We want everyone at the Surge to consider being a part of this.  This first meeting doesn't commit you to anything, it's just a way to learn more about what they are doing, and how we can be involved.  That could be everything from gift cards to prayer, to direct counseling and assistance if you complete their training program.
