Even in the midst of the richest area on earth, there are still hungry children – what's up with that? We're working with the Falls Church High School to put on an event that can be used to supplement food for kids in our area. So save the date, October 7th and 8th will be the setup and event and we will need all hands on deck to pull this one off – it's going to be a lot of fun. Our special music today is Try by Colbie Caillat... Saturday, May 21st, we'll be doing an “All Daughters” tea at the Barn... from 3-5pm. This is the day before Mother's day and will be a lovely afternoon of Earl Grey, crumpets and harp (played by our own Karen Reiss!). We are also sponsoring a Mental Health First Aid class at the Barn in coming weeks. This is a practical way that we can learn to invest in people, just like us, who are hurting. We have flyers and we'll need to sign up in advance, so let us know if you are interested. Simply email [email protected] and we'll get you connected. We'll wrap our Beautiful Design message series, talking about gender roles and God's best for men and women... we promise you'll be surprised by a lot of this in a good way – you won't want to miss it!
