The Surge announcements, May 8th, 2016

Happy Sunday everyone! ... we're celebrating God's love today and it's going to be great. Remember, we're not the band, the whole room is the band, so turn it up to 11!

Our special music today is Try by Colbie Caillat...

Saturday, May 21st, we'll be doing an “All Daughters” tea at the Barn... from 3-5pm. This is the day before Mother's day and will be a lovely afternoon of Earl Grey, crumpets and harp (played by our own Karen Reiss!).

We are also sponsoring a Mental Health First Aid class at the Barn in coming weeks. This is a practical way that we can learn to invest in people, just like us, who are hurting. We have flyers and we'll need to sign up in advance, so let us know if you are interested. Simply email [email protected] and we'll get you connected.

We'll wrap our Beautiful Design message series, talking about gender roles and God's best for men and women... we promise you'll be surprised by a lot of this in a good way – you won't want to miss it! We will see you and the people you bring next week!

Prayer request – please join us in praying that God would lead The Surge to be and do everything He wants us to be as a faith community. So many good things are happening – and He has such a great story for us.
