Surge announcements Easter, 2014

Happy Easter!  We have a wonderful service planned today as we celebrate life and hope!

If you're new and you feel like the Surge might be the place for you, we're doing a membership class starting tomorrow night!  Monday, April 21st, 7pm at the Barn.  There is a sign up sheet going around - or just show up ... we'll talk about who we are as a church, have time to answer questions, hear a bit of your story and talk about next steps.  That's tomorrow night!
 
Today is the last day of our fund raiser with naked pizza - if you're local or want to carry out, simply hit the naked pizza website and use the coupon code SURGE.  There are cards on the tables that have this information on the back.  This is cool, because 20% of your purchase will go to FamilyPass, a local organization helping families out of homelessness, right here in northern Virginia.
 
Next Saturday night, we're having a wedding shower for Iason and Julie!  They are our favorites... and a get together at Paul and Joy Gardiner's... if you would like to come and didn't already get an email invite, just let us know and we'll get you information!
 
Next week, we're continuing our Gravitas series with the Story, chapter 10... if you don't have a copy of the story, pick it up in the back (or let us know and we'll get you one!)... we'll be talking about Samuel and Saul - it's going to be great!
