The Surge Announcements, Jan 10th, 2015

We are continuing our second installment of a SOTM (Sermon the Mount) message series... SOTM Revisited and it's going to be great. I checked, and we are the only church in America that is using a clip from Southpark as part of our service. So fasten your seatbelts!
We'll be doing Chris Stapleton's Traveller, but sadly, no one will be wearing a hat.
God doesn't need your money, turns out that He is loaded with cash already. But He blesses folks with a generous heart. 2015 Giving statements will be going out along with a top line sheet of budget / expenses. We love that our financial books are open – anyone here can easily see where every dollar is going – it speaks to the integrity of our leadership and the kind of church we want to be.
Save the date, Feb 7th will be the Superbowl, along with Superbowl parties and some new info on small groups!
Also, we will be running our movie series in Feb as a run-up to the Oscars. Avengers, Selma and Inside Out will be watched and commented on by our team of trained movie goers. Sadly, Milo and Otis did NOT make the cut, but there is always next year.  More details coming soon!
